Verification codes
What is an SMS verification code number?
It is a phone number you use once to receive the one-time password (OTP) an app sends when you sign up or log in. On SNSCodes you pick the app and the country, get the number at once, paste it into the app and read the code on your screen a few seconds later.
What happens if no code arrives?
Every code number has a 20 minute window. If no SMS arrives in that time, the full price goes back to your credit automatically. You can also cancel a waiting number yourself and get the credit back at once.
How long can I use a code number?
A code number stays open for 20 minutes. While it is open you can ask for another code on the same number, for example when the app sends a second SMS. After the window closes the number goes back to the pool.
Which apps do you support?
30 apps, including WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, Microsoft, Apple ID, ChatGPT, Amazon and Uber. Each app has its own page with live prices for every country.
Why did the app reject the number?
Some apps limit how many accounts a number or a country can create. If the app refuses the number before it sends a code, cancel it and the credit comes back at once, then try another country.
Private numbers
What is the difference between a code and a private number?
A code number is for one app and one verification. A private number belongs to you for months or years, works with any app or website and receives every SMS sent to it during the period.
How long can I keep a private number?
You choose the period when you buy: depending on the country it is 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, or 2 or 3 years. The longer the period, the lower the monthly price.
Can I get a refund on a private number?
Yes, while no SMS has reached the number and the purchase is less than 20 minutes old, you can cancel it for a full refund to your credit. After the first SMS arrives the period is yours to use.
Can I send SMS or make calls from the number?
No. SNSCodes numbers receive SMS only. Every message appears in your account and through the API.
Credit and payments
How do I pay?
You add credit to your account through the PayGate checkout with USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Solana or Litecoin, then buy codes and numbers from that credit. The minimum top-up is $30.
Is there a bonus?
Your first top-up can include bonus credit. The payment window shows the exact bonus for the amount you pick before you pay.
Can I withdraw my credit?
Credit is used for purchases on SNSCodes. Refunds for codes that did not arrive and for canceled numbers always go back to your credit, never to a wallet.
How long does a top-up take?
Most networks confirm in 1 to 3 minutes. Bitcoin and Litecoin take longer because they need more blocks. The payment window shows the status while you wait.
Account and API
Do I need an email address to sign up?
Your account is a single access token that your browser creates. Keep the token safe, because it is the only key to your account and its credit.
Can I automate purchases?
Yes. Create an API key in your account and buy numbers, read codes and cancel through the HTTP API. The API uses the same credit and the same prices as the website.
What if I lose my token?
The token is not stored in readable form on our side, so it cannot be recovered. Save it as a .txt file or in a password manager when you create the account.
